Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of the FSQA team
Establish a culture of food safety and quality
Design and manage quality assurance programs
Enforce quality standards for materials and products
Oversee environmental monitoring and sanitation procedures
Act as liaison for food safety issues
Maintain accurate documentation of quality activities
Handle food safety crises and emergencies
Manage and develop team members
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree in food science, microbiology, animal sciences, or related field
2+ years of FSQA facility experience in food production
12+ months of supervisory FSQA experience
Proven track record in FSQA leadership
Ability to develop and manage food safety programs
Experience in conducting audits and inspections
Proficiency in analyzing quality data
Intermediate computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
PCQI and HACCP certification
Basic understanding of ERP processes
Ability to work a flexible schedule
