Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for procedures and obtain their clinical history
Perform basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures
Identify and define cardiac abnormalities
Assist physicians in procedure and operating rooms
Record statistics and perform daily maintenance of the Echocardiography Lab
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Technical or Associates degree program in Radiology
2 years’ professional experience with intermediate level echocardiography or vascular skills
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in transthoracic echocardiography
Familiarity with Philips iE33/EPIQ systems
