Job Description
Join Gulfstream Aerospace as an Avionics/Electrical Technician II on the 2nd shift, where you'll utilize your expertise in testing and troubleshooting aircraft systems. This role is crucial for ensuring quality installations and compliance with safety regulations, providing a significant impact on aircraft performance.
Key Responsibilities
Testing aircraft systems and troubleshooting
Installing and functionally testing electrical/avionics components
Ensuring quality and efficiency of installations
Documenting work performed on aircraft
Operating test equipment and conducting functional tests
Complying with engineering changes and safety regulations
Adapting to schedule changes
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Four years experience in avionics/electrical field or two years accredited schooling in aviation electronics with two years related experience
Preferred Qualifications
A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license
FCC license
NCATT certification
Proficiency in other aircraft systems (hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams
