Job Description
As a Restaurant Shift Leader at Loves Travel Stops, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service. You'll lead a dynamic team, manage processes, and enhance sales while enjoying benefits like tuition assistance and flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
Assist the General Manager with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, and complete reporting
Coach and develop team members in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner
Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas
Ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained
Required Qualifications
Ability to work various shifts
Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more
