Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care

Reviews patient history and initiates CT images based on physician orders
Safely administers contrast media or imaging medications
Monitors patient condition and responds to changes
Implements techniques for image clarity and quality control
May perform 3-D post processing and report scan results
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
Registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by ARRT
BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer
