About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to join our team in Neptune, NJ on a 13-week assignment. This role provides patient-centered care to adult oncology patients with a focus on leukemia & lymphoma in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be experienced, compassionate, and committed to delivering evidence-based care.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patient conditions and collaborate with physicians
- Plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care
- Identify priorities for care based on patient needs and acuity
- Initiate assessments per patient needs and physician diagnosis
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care
- Advocate for evidence-based practice and support innovative care delivery
- Document care in accordance with clinical standards and priorities
- Provide patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3×12-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- Pre-assigned holidays required
- No on-call
- Float required
Pay & Benefits
- $52–$59 per hour

Requirements
Education
- ASN required
- BSN preferred
Licensure & Certifications
- Valid NJ RN License or Compact License
- BLS (AHA) required
- Chemotherapy Certification (ONS) required
- Telemetry certification preferred
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of acute adult oncology (leukemia & lymphoma) inpatient experience
Skills & Attributes
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-focused care
- Proficient in therapeutic interventions and oncology protocols
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
