Job Description
Join Raytheon's mechanical design team as a Senior Principal Low Observable Design Engineer, where you will leverage your expertise in stealth technology to support national security and work on innovative projects. This role offers the chance to engage in all phases of development and testing of Low Observable weapon systems.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct stealth design, analysis, and testing
Develop proposals and Basis of Estimate (BOE)
Perform RCS predictions and documentation
Support integrated product teams with design efforts
Present results to internal and external customers
Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and project management
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Ten years of engineering experience in Low Observable (LO) technology or related fields
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with LO targets testing
Knowledge of absorber material treatments
Utilization of RF testing techniques
Understanding of electromagnetic fundamentals
Experience in infrared signature technology
Programming skills in C++, MATLAB or other technical languages
Advanced radar system development experience
