A Nurse Supervisor oversees clinic management and supervises nursing staff to ensure the delivery of effective therapeutic healthcare services. They uphold organizational policies and maintain high standards of patient care within the clinic setting. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, current RN licensure, and experience in clinical nursing with supervisory responsibilities.
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides general clinic management and supervision of assigned staff in the designated clinic setting. Ensures efficient, appropriate therapeutic health care is administered to clinic patients. Supports and maintains the University Health's policies, protocols, values and guest relations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required (Magnet). Three years clinical or hospital nursing with two years of supervisory/charge experience in nursing preferred.
LICENSURE
Current RN licensure in the State of Texas. Certification in specialty is preferred. BLS required. ACLS preferred.
