Job Description
Join our Honolulu clinic as an Audiologist, where you will provide vital care to service members by assessing and diagnosing hearing issues. Your expertise will directly impact the lives of veterans and active-duty personnel, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and interpret various tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment
Evaluate test results in relation to behavioral, social, and educational factors
Conduct otoscopic examinations and manage cerumen
Lead training for paraprofessional staff in audiology skills
Ability to travel up to 50% for audiology examinations
Required Qualifications
Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited college or university
5+ years of clinical practice experience
Currently licensed Audiologist in the state employed with an unrestricted license
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) certification
Ability to pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
Medical clearance for respiratory protective equipment and TB testing
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Compensation and Pension Examination
Experience with hearing conservation programs or noise conservation programs
