• Location: Salisbury, Maryland (21801) – Eastern Shore healthcare jobs
• Setting: Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) – Cardiac Stepdown
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/3/2025, End: 2/2/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed (orientation weeks may vary)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,880 - $2,020 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or Compact State
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Intermediate Care (IMC) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Provide continuous cardiac and respiratory monitoring for high-acuity patients
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Rapidly respond to changes in patient hemodynamics or respiratory status
• Care for patients with sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, post open-heart procedures, and those requiring BiPAP/CPAP
• Serve as a patient advocate and educator for patients and families
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a dynamic clinical environment
