Key Responsibilities
Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Administers prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse
Documents resident care and medication administration
Assists residents with daily living activities such as bathing and grooming
Communicates changes in resident condition to the charge nurse
Required Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
State-required certified/trained medication aide certification (CMA or TMA)
Minimum age of 18
High school graduate or GED preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
12 hours of continuing education annually based on state requirements
