Job Description
As an Active Orthopedic Surgeon in the U.S. Army, you'll treat Soldiers and their families using both surgical and nonsurgical methods for musculoskeletal issues. You'll have access to cutting-edge equipment and ongoing education while making a significant impact on the lives of service members.
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school
Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
Eligibility for board certification
Completion of at least one year of approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
U.S. citizenship for Active Duty
Permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve
