Key Responsibilities
Manage food cost, waste, staffing and cleanliness
Supervise Assistant Kitchen Manager
Ensure proper staffing in the kitchen
Maintain food quality and safety standards
Oversee inventory and orders
Ensure kitchen equipment functionality
Hire and train new staff
Maintain cleaning standards
Create schedules for kitchen staff
Work within a budget to minimize waste
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of kitchen management experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant
Strong culinary knowledge
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Leadership and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Financial understanding of sales, costs of sales and labor
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-lingual (Spanish)
Familiarity with kitchen equipment maintenance
Willingness to run occasional front of house shifts
