As a Clinical Pharmacist I, you will play a vital role in patient care by preparing and dispensing medications, monitoring drug therapies, and providing drug information. You will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use while maintaining a high standard of pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and dispense drug orders per physician request
Interpret and transcribe drug orders into computerized patient medication records
Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals
Issue controlled substances and maintain records
Provide ambulatory pharmaceutical care services
Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications and interactions
Provide drug education to patients and their families
Participate in quality improvement and medication use review activities
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree
Pharmacy registration in the State of practice
Pharmacy State licensure within 60 days of start date
BLS or ACLS and PALS within 180 days of start date
