Job Description
Join Fusion Medical Staffing as a Travel CVICU RN for a rewarding 13-week assignment in Upper Marlboro, MD. You'll provide critical care to patients while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and monitor critically ill patients
Administer complex medications and treatments
Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments
Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses
Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU
Communicate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Engage in quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as a CVICU RN
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
Preferred Qualifications
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
TNCC, NIHSS certification
Other certifications or licenses may be required
