Position Overview:

 

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team in Concord, MA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in acute care settings and be committed to providing excellent patient support and clinical assistance.

Job Title: Patient Care Technician
Location: Concord, MA
Pay: $30 per hour
Start Date: November 10, 2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 12x3 Hours (7pm-7:30am)
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as ambulation and feeding
• Measure and record intake and output accurately
• Obtain and record vital signs, 12-lead EKG/ECG, and finger sticks
• Perform phlebotomy and collect sterile specimens as needed
• Handle oxygen tanks and pulse oximetry equipment safely
• Follow infection control and isolation precaution protocols
• Recognize and report abnormal vital signs promptly
• Ensure safe patient transfers and maintain age-specific competency (young adult to older adult)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of recent Patient Care Technician experience
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of infection control, vital signs parameters, and safe patient handling.

Pay and Benefits:

• $30 per hour
• 13-week contract with potential for extension
