Key Responsibilities
Provide critical care support for all patients admitted
Manage Code Blues and supervise invasive procedures in the ICU
Consult with medical staff and collaborate with emergency department physicians
Coordinate patient care and manage specialists' consultations
Complete medical records and reports timely
Provide orientation and training for healthcare team
Participate in in-service education programs for staff
Serve as Subspecialty Education Coordinator for Internal Medicine residency program
Communicate effectively with referring or admitting physicians and families
Promote good public relations on behalf of the hospital
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
Completion of accredited ACGME or AOA Internal Medicine Residency
Completion of Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship
Board certified or eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care
