Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients based on departmental standards
Conduct and modify evaluations to establish individualized treatment goals
Administer therapeutic exercises and physical agents to relieve pain
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs
Document in accordance with insurance guidelines
Foster communication with referring physicians regarding patient care
Supervise at least one affiliated student per year
Attend continuing education courses
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy with a minimum of a B.S.
Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy
Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient in Windows-based programs
Basic keyboarding skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
