Key Responsibilities
Identify functional speech defects and establish a plan of care
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and communication disorders
Recommend communication devices/aids as needed
Keep records and monitor patient progress
Counsel patients and family members
Make independent decisions regarding work methods
Required Qualifications
Master's or Doctoral Degree in speech-language pathology
Licensed as a speech-language pathologist or completion of clinical practicum
Minimum of 9 months of supervised full-time SLP services
Successful completion of an approved national examination in SLP
Current CPR certification
Minimum of one year clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sensitivity to cultural diversity
Strong customer service skills
Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance
