Key Responsibilities
Provide medical assistant care under supervision of physicians and nurses
Greet patients and provide excellent service
Perform administrative duties including documentation of vitals and medical history
Maintain communication with patients and multidisciplinary team members
Assist with scheduling appointments and patient outreach
Administer vaccines and collect specimens as per protocols
Required Qualifications
Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant
Electrocardiogram (EKG), vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injection experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by NJAC
Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association
