Speech-Language Pathologist Role $2,500 per week

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a skilled nursing facility. The SLP will work with adult and geriatric residents to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders, helping them improve their quality of life and functional independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy services in accordance with physician orders and care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including nursing, OT/PT, and dietary staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Educate residents, caregivers, and staff as appropriate

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY may be considered
• SNF or geriatric experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
