Key Responsibilities
Conduct surgical and nonsurgical treatments for Soldiers and their families
Determine treatment courses for patients with musculoskeletal disorders
Utilize state-of-the-art medical equipment
Engage in research and professional development
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school
Current license to practice medicine in the U.S., District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico
Eligibility for board certification
Completed at least one year of approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
U.S. citizenship for Active Duty; permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in orthopedic surgery
Participation in continued education courses, seminars, and trainings
