Job Description
Join Sysco’s World Class Sales Team as a Sales Consultant, where you’ll promote products and services, develop customer relationships, and achieve sales goals. This outside sales role offers career development opportunities with a focus on helping customers succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts
Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and services
Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers
Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel
Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and company meetings
Communicate and collect accounts receivable
Manage deliveries and troubleshoot problems during the order process
Participate in company functions, customer visits, and events
Attend general sales and district meetings
Engage in ongoing training sessions
Assist with the training of new employees
Perform administrative duties related to sales
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline
HSD/GED with 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-Lingual
Restaurant Management experience
Foodservice Outside Sales experience
Chef Experience
