The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Conference Event Coordinator to join our team at The Gideon Putnam in Saratoga Springs, New York. As a Conference Event Coordinator, working within this collaborative team, you will be partner with clients, guests, and our food and beverage teams to create and execute events for our guests at The Gideon Putnam.

What will you do?
- Review guest event requests and requirements and determine the next steps to take
- Collaborate with Sales Manager to create long-term planning and execution of events and partner with the food and beverage department at the unit to organize the catering needs
- Ensure effective communication between all relevant departments at the property
- Conduct a pre-and post-event briefing to ensure all departments understand the standards of the event
More about you
- 1 - 3 years' experience in hospitality, sales or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Physical requirements
- Ability to stand and walk, for prolonged periods of time bend, stoop, and kneel
- Capacity lift, balance, and move up to 35 lbs
