Job Description
Join Raytheon's Flight Avionics Team as a Senior GPS Systems Engineer, where you'll develop innovative GPS electronics solutions for missile products. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, tackling critical challenges that enhance national security.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze hardware designs, subsystems, and components
Architect new electronic systems
Develop and document subsystem requirements and test plans
Conduct peer reviews of designs
Interface with suppliers of navigation or guidance electronics components
Collaborate with missile level system engineers
Support multiple programs and possible travel
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with electrical hardware development
Experience in developing RF electrical subsystems
Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance
U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in missile radar and RF seeker subsystems
Understanding of navigation subsystems/components
Recent experience with integrated Guidance Electronics systems using GPS and IMU
Knowledge and/or experience with M-Code
Familiarity with Matlab scripting and tools
Experience with hardware integration and testing
Ability to lead cross-functional teams
