Job Description

Join Children's Hospital of The King's Daughter as a Radiological Technologist in Urgent Care. In this role, you'll perform vital radiologic procedures, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction while collaborating with a dynamic medical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs radiologic procedures and examinations
  • Receives and interprets requests for radiologic procedures
  • Protects patients and self from secondary radiation
  • Maintains knowledge of radiation protection standards
  • Provides services using imaging modalities including conventional x-ray
  • Evaluates radiographs for technical quality
  • Exercises professional judgment in procedures
  • Provides essential patient care
  • Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action
  • Assists with clinical processes for patient care

Required Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • 2-3 years pediatric or general x-ray experience preferred
  • Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures
  • Interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • Analytical skills for radiograph provision
  • Ability to work as a clinically integrated team member
  • CPR Training required within 45 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pediatric radiology
  • Knowledge of radiologic equipment operation and maintenance
