Key Responsibilities
Support direct patient care clinical activities of orthopedic surgeons
Coordinate activities related to casting, bracing, DME, wound care, suture/staple removal
Assist with orthopedic procedures to expedite patient care
Promote patient education and safety
Maintain inventory of required clinical items
Greet and assist patients in a professional manner
Document physician orders and assist with administrative duties
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
0-2 years of experience
U.S. Armed Forces Military Medical Core experience
Athletic Trainer Certified
1 year MA experience under the direct supervision of an Orthopedic Surgeon
