Marketing Coordinator

Enjoy working at our South Corporate office located at 1800 Innovation Point, 5th Floor, Fort Mill, SC. Primary office hours are 8:00am-5:00pm with the option to work offsite on Friday.

Starting salary: $45,000. Commensurate with experience.

Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator job function is a developmental role that will be instrumental in assisting the daily execution of the various marketing teams within the CRM and Loyalty department.

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the execution of email and SMS campaigns on the CRM & Loyalty Team. This includes coordinating with creative and channel partners to traffic assets, reviewing content for accuracy, setting up and scheduling sends, and maintaining campaign calendars. The role also supports broader marketing activities such as Grand Openings, digital promotions, and local marketing execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in an execution-focused role, with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams including Merchandising, Store Operations, Ecommerce, and Creative.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential functions vary according to the team assigned. The Marketing Coordinator role:

  • Execute campaign tasks based on provided creative briefs for SMS and email marketing.
  • Coordinate with creative and production teams to track asset progress, ensure deliverables are on time, and flag any blockers.
  • Review and proof campaign content for accuracy, functionality (e.g., links), brand consistency, and formatting.
  • Schedule and QA campaign sends using email/SMS platforms and tools.
  • Maintain and update campaign calendars to track deadlines, creative status, and deployment dates.
  • Support campaign reporting by organizing performance metrics and compiling results into templates or summaries.
  • Assist with execution tasks for other marketing activities and digital promotions as needed.
  • Help coordinate digital assets for landing pages, promotional codes, and cross-channel marketing efforts.
  • Support A/B test setup for SMS and email campaigns and assist with gathering results.
  • Work with internal teams to help ensure campaign materials and information are delivered as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with professionals at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment with both internal stakeholders and outside agencies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines, and shift focus between projects / tasks, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and interpret sales and customer data and make conclusions / recommendations.
