Key Responsibilities
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Assist with basic health care needs including bathing, grooming, and dressing
Obtain and record vital signs
Assist residents with meals and snacks
Document resident interactions and outcomes
Communicate resident's changing condition to the charge nurse
Provide housekeeping and laundry services
Encourage residents to participate in wellness and recreational programs
Required Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
High school graduate or GED preferred
Minimum age of 16
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in long-term care
Satisfactory completion of yearly department specific competency testing
12 hours of continuing education annually
