ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1530 - $1640
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/4/2025 – End: 2/3/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Emergency Department (37 beds, 130 daily visits)
• Shifts: 3x12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Charting System: Epic
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• Parking: Free on-site parking

Emergency Room Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience in a U.S. hospital
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact Registered Nurse license (must be active prior to start)
• Certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, TNCC
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system
• Clinical skills: arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, IV vasopressors, ventilator management, trauma care
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages: neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Assess, triage, and manage patients with diverse diagnoses and acuity levels
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and deliver advanced life support interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EHR
• Float to similar units as needed to support hospital operations
• Participate in emergency preparedness and response, especially during South Carolina hurricane season (June–November)
