Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed structural analyses to support all phases of programs
Generate test plans to validate analyses and verify hardware compliance
Analyze test data to validate and correlate models
Assist experienced analysts on moderate complexity problems
Coordinate and lead technical peer reviews
Present results to internal stakeholders and external customers
Generate detailed technical reports
Travel to test sites to support testing or design discussions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in STEM
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or 6+ years of experience without a degree
Experience in structural analysis tools (PATRAN, NASTRAN, ANSYS, ABAQUS or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of mechanical principles for structural engineering
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
5+ years of experience in structural analysis of complex systems
Experience in structural testing
Experience with dynamic shock and vibration analysis
Experience with solid modeling CAD tools (CREO or equivalent)
Experience with Matlab
Excellent communication skills
Experience presenting to external customers
Advanced degree in relevant disciplines
