Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Tele/PCU – Traveler (Nights & Days)
Schedule:
Night shifts required ; must also be available for day shifts as needed
12-hour shifts
Every other weekend required
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RN with strong cardiac care experience to float between Med/Surg, Telemetry, and PCU units. This role includes caring for post-Cath and cardiac patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in Med/Surg, Telemetry, and PCU units.
Care for post-Cath and cardiac patients with attention to hemodynamic stability.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to clinical changes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Perform assessments, administer medications, and implement care plans.
Document care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital standards.
Float between units based on staffing needs.
Qualifications:
Active state RN license (or compact license, if applicable).
BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) – current and active.
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
Cardiac and post-Cath patient care experience required.
Previous PCU experience strongly preferred.
