Job Description
As a Reactor Supervisor at Constellation Energy, you will lead the operations of our Nuclear Power Generating Station, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant while overseeing a team of operators. You will engage in training to obtain your NRC License and play a pivotal role in the transition to a carbon-free future.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee operations of nuclear power generation including directing Reactor Operators and Equipment Operators
Authorize maintenance and testing activities
Implement Emergency Operating procedures
Evaluate and respond to internal and external issues and findings
Oversee special projects determined by Operations Director/Managers
Review and revise Emergency Operating Procedures
Conduct operability reviews during off-normal conditions
Assist in developing refueling sequences
Direct operating shift personnel in plant duties
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Passing the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Basic Math and Science Test (BMST) pre-employment tests
Completing a FLS Leadership Assessment
1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a non-comparable facility OR 1.5 years or more in an equivalent position at military reactor OR Bachelor's degree in engineering or physical sciences with relevant experience
