Location: Concord, MA
Start Date: 10/6/2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12s, 36 hours/week)
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday
On Call Requirements: None
Experience Required: NICU experience with attendance at deliveries
Position Summary:
HumanEdge Health is seeking a skilled Travel NICU RN for a Level-2 nursery in Concord, MA. The RN provides comprehensive care to neonates during high-risk deliveries and in the NICU, floating to Postpartum and Mother/Baby units as needed. Care is delivered using the nursing process, in accordance with hospital standards, regulatory guidelines, and professional best practices.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for neonates and families.
Attend high-risk deliveries and provide immediate newborn care.
Supervise and delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel within their scope.
Participate in unit/hospital quality improvement projects.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Provide education to patients and families as appropriate.
Maintain accurate documentation of care, assessments, and interventions.
Support staff development through mentoring and preceptorship.
Provide coverage for Mother/Baby unit and Labor & Delivery as needed.
Qualifications:
Massachusetts RN License – Required
BLS Healthcare Provider – Required
NRP Certification – Required
Previous NICU or special care newborn experience – Preferred
Experience attending deliveries – Required
