Key Responsibilities
Implement physician orders and administer medications
Start IVs and perform treatments and procedures
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Assess patient needs and responses to care
Provide primary and emergency care for injuries
Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care
Guide ancillary personnel and maintain nursing standards
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a professional academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree)
Current NYS Registered Nurse license
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
Excellent communication skills
Strong prioritization and organizational skills
Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques
