Job Description
Join Whole Foods Market as a Maintenance Team Leader and lead the maintenance team in a dynamic food production environment. This role involves ensuring safety compliance, managing maintenance operations, and driving team performance, all while contributing to meaningful community impacts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of the maintenance team
Ensure compliance with USDA and safety standards
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement repair strategies
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
Organize maintenance activities to minimize downtime
Manage maintenance budgets and inventory of supplies
Maintain safety and security standards
Train and develop team members
Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing
12+ months of maintenance supervisory experience
OSHA safety certification or relevant safety training
In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and hydraulic systems
Ability to plan, execute, and oversee maintenance projects
Strong analytical skills for interpreting technical documents
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications such as CMRP or CPMM
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Basic understanding of ERP processes
Intermediate computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office
