Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Highland, IL 62249 (Illinois travel nursing job)
• Healthcare Setting: Medical Unit 2 – Telemetry
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 18, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (NOC), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1950 - $2090
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN or in a related nursing specialty
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)
• Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of Highland, IL (travel nurse eligibility)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend
• Excellent communication, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for telemetry patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families
• Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered environment
