Join Primient as a Health & Safety Site Manager, where you will lead initiatives to ensure the safety and well-being of employees while protecting the environment. Your role will involve managing a dedicated team, developing safety programs, and fostering a culture of safety across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of 6 direct reports
Oversee employee and contractor training programs
Establish industrial hygiene monitoring and reporting programs
Act as a liaison during emergencies
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Interface with regulatory agencies during audits
Create and enforce safety policies
Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments
Provide training programs and communicate safety protocols
Track safety metrics and prepare reports for management
Stay updated with relevant laws and regulations
Foster a culture of safety and well-being among employees
Continuously seek ways to improve safety and environmental practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
At least 10 years of experience in a Health & Safety role
Strong knowledge of OSHA and other relevant regulations
Excellent communication skills
Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop safety programs
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Corn wet milling experience
