Location: Midland Memorial Hospital - Midland, TX
Start Date: July 14, 2025
Contract Length: 16 weeks preferred (13-week contracts may be considered)
Shift: 3x12-Hour Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
We are seeking experienced Labor & Delivery RNs for a travel assignment. Nurses must be able to circulate for C-sections, transition newborns, and manage labor. This is a high-volume unit supporting up to 200-300 births per month.
Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive care throughout the labor and delivery process
Circulate for cesarean sections and assist with vaginal deliveries
Perform fetal monitoring, administer medications including magnesium sulfate and Pitocin
Transition newborns in the delivery room and perform APGAR scoring
Rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, and delivery (no postpartum care)
Float to antepartum unit as needed
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience - Required
Charge experience - Required
Must be able to circulate and transition babies
Certifications Required:
BLS
ACLS
NRP
NIHSS
Certifications Preferred: AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced, Fetal Monitoring (FHM)
Charting System: Cerner (preferred)
