Join a well-established primary care practice as a dedicated Primary Care Physician, providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population. Your focus will be on preventive care and chronic disease management, making a significant impact on community health.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient examinations, diagnose, and treat patients across all age groups
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications
Order and review laboratory and radiology tests; refer patients to specialists when necessary
Maintain accurate patient records and document care through the EHR system
Provide patient counseling on lifestyle, diet, medications, and treatment plans
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including HEDIS and MRA compliance
Supervise and coordinate with medical assistants and support staff
Serve as a resource for ongoing patient care, guidance, and education
Collaborate with other physicians for complex cases
Comply with all applicable laws, including HIPAA
Required Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited program
Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Spanish-speaking
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with EHR systems (preferably eClinicalWorks)
