Job Description
Join Constellation Energy as a Reactor Supervisor, where you'll lead the operations of a nuclear generating station, ensuring safe and efficient energy production. This role involves a combination of training and direct oversight, preparing you for a crucial position in clean energy production.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Nuclear Power Generating Station operations
Direct Reactor Operators and Equipment Operators
Authorize maintenance and testing activities
Implement Emergency Operating procedures
Evaluate and respond to internal and external issues
Oversee special projects
Create and revise Emergency Operating Procedures
Review design and license changes
Assist in developing refueling sequences
Direct operating shift personnel
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Passing the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Basic Math and Science Test (BMST)
Completion of FLS Leadership Assessment
1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a non-comparable facility
1.5 years or more in a position equivalent to Reactor Operator (or Supervisor) at military reactor
Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology or physical sciences, or professional engineer license with relevant experience
