Job Description
Aya Locums is seeking a locum General Dentist in Natchitoches, LA, offering a competitive pay of $95 to $115 per hour. This 13-week position involves comprehensive dental assessments, treatment planning, and performing various dental procedures in a collaborative outpatient clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and diagnose dental conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crown and bridge work
Provide preventive dental care, such as cleanings and oral hygiene education
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants and other dental professionals
Maintain accurate and complete dental records
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
Active and unrestricted dental license in Louisiana
Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
At least one year of experience in a dental practice
