Key Responsibilities
Provides treatment to patients by evaluating function and selecting appropriate treatments.
Participates in interdisciplinary approaches for community education and clinical education.
Conducts evaluations and establishes individualized, measurable goals for patients.
Administers physical agents and therapeutic techniques to relieve pain.
Educates patients and families in home exercise programs.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy with a minimum of a B.S.
Must hold a current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
Must be a certified lymphedema therapist.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in the use of Windows-based programs.
Basic keyboarding skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
