Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an Emergency Room RN or Med-Surg nurse
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Room and Med-Surg Adult Unit
• Assess, triage, and manage patients with acute and chronic conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record
• Respond rapidly and effectively to emergency situations
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families
