Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Case Associate, where you'll make a meaningful impact on the lives of New Yorkers by developing client care plans and utilizing community resources. Collaborate with social workers to provide essential support and guidance to clients in need.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a case planner ensuring appropriate interventions for client care
Develop action plans utilizing existing resources and establishing new ones
Conduct routine community contacts on behalf of social workers
Evaluate living conditions through home visits
Provide structure and evaluate independent living skills for clients
Run groups under supervision of social worker
Perform individual/group counseling
Conduct community outreach and establish linkages with other organizations
Required Qualifications
BA Degree with experience in community or social service
At least five years of experience as a Case Assistant in a community or social service group
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual Haitian-Creole
