Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment
Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards
Receive road calls and work with business partners on action plans
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Utilize fleet maintenance software to document repairs
Required Qualifications
3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic
Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs
Demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in administering appropriate PM program
Must furnish own personal hand tools
Preferred Qualifications
A valid Class-A CDL license and DOT certification
Welding ability
Able to read and write legibly; basic mathematical skills
