As a Health & Safety Site Manager at Primient, you will lead initiatives to ensure employee safety and environmental protection in a manufacturing setting. Your role involves developing and implementing health and safety programs while managing a dedicated team to foster a strong safety culture and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of health & safety professionals
Oversee employee and contractor training programs
Establish and maintain industrial hygiene monitoring and reporting programs
Act as a liaison during emergencies
Meet reporting requirements for regulations
Interface with regulatory agencies during audits
Create and enforce safety policies
Conduct inspections and risk assessments
Provide training programs and communicate safety protocols
Monitor safety metrics and prepare reports
Ensure legal compliance
Foster a culture of safety and well-being
Continuously seek ways to improve safety practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
At least 10 years of experience in a Health & Safety role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong knowledge of OSHA and other relevant regulations
Excellent communication skills
Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop safety programs
