Key Responsibilities
Provide patient-oriented service in a clinical or front office setting
Perform clerical and administrative duties related to patient care delivery
Communicate with patients and families to complete registration processes
Utilize computer systems for patient data entry and verification
Collect patient co-pays and discuss financial obligations
Generate and analyze patient data reports
Maintain knowledge of registration requirements across various departments
Required Qualifications
1+ years of experience in a hospital, office, customer service, or phone support setting
Ability to work on a Per Diem basis with irregular shifts
Influenza vaccination commitment
Basic mathematics for financial payments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Experience in a Hospital Patient Registration Department or any medical setting
Experience in insurance reimbursement and financial verification
Understanding of insurance policies and procedures
Working knowledge of medical terminology
