Travel Nursing Job Details

• Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nurse
• Location: Detroit, MI 48235 (Michigan nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 18, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:30 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Unit: 3 WEST (39 beds)
• Nurse-Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Charting System: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Navy blue

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience (tele RN experience)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to float to other hospital units within skillset
• Flu and COVID-19 vaccines required (medical/religious exceptions considered)

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions, including chest pain and post-cardiac catheterization procedures
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced telemetry unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient information using Cerner electronic health records
• Float to support other clinical units as needed
• Participate in special procedures and respond to medical emergencies as required
