Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Ottumwa, Iowa. Join a dedicated clinical team and make a positive impact on patients’ lives while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests and clinical examinations
Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments
Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
Operate specialized physical therapy equipment safely and effectively
Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Work closely with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to safety guidelines
Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development
Collaborate in discharge planning for continued patient progress
Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
Required Qualifications
Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate degree in physical therapy
Physical Therapy experience (New Grads are welcome to apply)
Other certifications or licenses may be required
